My buddy got us permission to hunt a private property that is next to an old county park. this property was once part of the park but got divided up and sold. we hunted for about 3 hours and found a couple of IH's before we found this hot spot. all the rest of these came from that hot spot. 4 IH's, the oldest being 1883, all are pretty much toast but fun to find for sure. we also found: a V nickel from 1905, a 1917 Merc, 1912 Canadian dime, 1907 Barber dime, 1876 Seated dime and a 1907 Barber Half that I scratched the heck out of... :-( So far we haven't heard back from the owner if we can go back again.
