Finds from the weekend hunt

Got back to my brother-in-law's again this past weekend. Boy did we hit it hard. I think I wore him out, LOL! He's always tell my sister, "He's like the Energizer Bunny! He just keeps going!". My feeling is that I have to make the most of it while I'm there. It's a 2 1/4 hour drive for me, make it worth my while! We didn't expect to hunt as soon as I got up there late Friday afternoon, but when I stopped to ask a home owner if we could hunt this weekend he said I have company coming can you do it tonight. Well, when it comes to an 1840s - 1850s house you don't hesitate. I called my brother-in-law, asked if he was home from work, he said he just got in, I said we have to hunt this place tonight or not at all this weekend, he said I'll be right there. He says, "Don't detect without me!". I said, I'd wait for him. I ran some milk, bread and home grown produce up the hill to my mother-in-law, no relation to the brother-in-law and told him I'd meet him there. We got a pile of stuff there and the rest at few other old places we hit. This is just my stuff - 1898 and 1913 Barber Dimes, 1926, 1941, 1943, and 1944 Mercs, plus a 1926 Merc Ring, 1943 P War Nickel, 1946 Roosevelt, 1918 Buffalo Nickel, No Date Large Cent, 1883, 1897, 1901 and 1903 Indian heads, Gold plated Ives Scott & Co Super Fine Button, F & Burnham Extra Button, Flat Button (Cannot make out what the manufactures mark reads. I can see "URANGE"), French Religious Medallion, Amber colored stone pin, 1910, 1911, 1912, 1916, 1918, 1919, 1922, 1926, 1927, 1929, 1934, 1935, 1936, 141, 1942, 1944, 1945, 1946, 1948, 1950, 1951, 1952 D, 1956 and 1957 Wheaties with duplicates of some of those years. - ENJOY!

That's a lot of diggin. Too much

Duke, awesome weekend, fantastic finds, way to hit it hard.

Duke - you ARE the energizer bunny. Great stuff as usual. You kill it when you go there.

Do you get sore/stiff legs after this much up and down?

I'm a bit sore. I used my ProSwing harness all weekend. It was easy on the wrist, elbow and shoulder.

Oh Yes, I forgot you bought one. Did you use the 17" coil a lot? How was the untethering part when you have to dig?

And by the way, did shortening the lower rod a bit help with your sore wrist/numb thumb issue?

Would you recommend the harness? (I'm probably buying one anyways mainly for the larger coil)

I don't have the 17" yet.

The untethering is very quick and easy

I didn't shorten the shaft. The harness worked very well. It has a lot of loops for attaching tools. I used the battery pack pouch to put the WM in.

Duke looks like you had fun this weekend lot's of silver and wheat's, 4 Indians 1 large cent and a buff 1918 check for a overdate on that bad boy. WTG sube

Nothing compared to you, The Silver King!

Definitely! I always think that I won't come close to the last hunt we had together and It seems like I'm always pleasantly surprised.
