That's a very nice collection of finds Mike. it's surprising that the Euro has lost it's colour already.
My father in-law and his mother lived in Germany in 1944-5. They left their home country of Estonia when the Russians re invaded. The captain of the freighter that they were travelling on, separated his ship from the convoy, that they were in when they came under air attack from the Russians. he got into big trouble, when they got back, but considering his was the only ship not to get sunk, I think he made a good call. As they were camped at one location, about 70kms from Dresden, they witnessed the firebombing of that town when there was a massive lose of civilian life. There was a lot of grief in the camp that night, as they had suffered a similar experience in Tallinn, and felt for what the local population were going though.
My son has a couple of German coins given to him of that time which he keeps in his coin album.
Mick Evans.

Great finds Mike! The Crest is very cool! Never seen one like it. You always have some great finds, Beale.
