Finds from the old fairground

Finds today hit an old fairground for almost 4 hrs after work with Stringfrenzy. I dug a 1947 rosie, 1868 Indian, 1 wheat, token, 1949 play coin and a button plus bunch of clad, Josh got some goodies as well.

Congrats on a great hunt ! How many Indians does that make for the year?

That is 51 indians for this year.....I am way, way down from this time last year. The fields I hunted this spring just were not very productive

Nice coins G4E:clapping:

I dont even have 51 wheat pennies yet this year. :veryangry: ( i have 48 wheats and one indian cent)

lol

Nice finds once again Terry! Thanks for the pictures.

Will you hit the fields again next spring? I would imagine new things are always getting turned over from plowing??

I will get all new fields, literallly hundreds of field sites around this area, towards end of summer I will start researching, calling farmers and lining up permission for after the fall harvest

That's great to have those kind of sites available. I'm going to research the county next to me this winter. It's much more farm land and older than my area. Is there an ideal time/season to hunt wheat fields??
