Hi all, hope everyone is out swinging for goodies. A buddy of mine just bought an Ace 250 and had never been detecting before so I offered to take him out and help him dig a plug and recover etc...I took him to where I found the 1896o Barber dime earlier this week. We got there and spent some time comparing signals and pinpoint locations. He found a couple of coins, but no keepers. He seemed to be a good luck charm for me, found 2 wheats and then had back to back Mercs about 10 feet from eachother! As we were getting ready to leave I dug up a silver Rosie to complete a very rare 3 silver day for me! I was super excited and I'm sure seeing some old coins dug up will motivate my friend.

Yesterday I had the day off of work and drove to another town to detect an old park for the first time. My first few hours and two sections of the park that I tried was full of trash and no deep coins. The third area that I tried turned out to be much better. Right off the bat I found 3 wheats in a row followed by a silver rosie. I kept gridding the area and kept finding keepers. When I found my third silver dime I thought "No way I find 3 silvers on back to back days!":surprised:. I still had some time to detect so I decided I would keep hitting the area and dig some iffy coin signals. 4 silvers in a day is my best and I really wanted to try and beat it. Ended up finding 8 wheats in this area as well. Found 2 more Mercs and set my new personal best of 5 silvers in a hunt, 8 in two days, and dime trifecta for the week! The goofy pendant is marked Disney Sterling and looks gold plated, cool because we just took out daughter to Disney in Orlando this spring. Also got a token and a few toy eyeball finds. Thanks for looking and HH!!
