Finds from the fields....another 2 center

Last 3 days of field hunts. 1912 wheat, 1882 Indian, 1865 two cent. My second 2 center this week! A good for 5 cent token and assorted relics, my favorite is the big round piece. It looks like a roman soldier to me.

SWEEEET, another 2 center.

That is one hard coin to find and when I do it's a big thrill for me.

Nice finds Terry! A 2 center is on my wish list. Congratulations and thanks for the pictures. I know you worked hard for 'em!

Congrats on the excellent finds !

Nice!!! I found four 2 cent this past spring. Still waiting for them to get the beans out, but they had to replant some because of all the rain we had.

Great finds.
What , if anything, is on the back of your Roman soldier emblem ???
Might help I.D.'g what it came off of.

2 cent is on my wish list too. Glad to see the fields are giving it up.

Roman piece is bridle ornament,I have several with various designs and some with large stones.Find mostly at sites where church use to stand or Masonic Parks.

Congrats Terry! :clapping: Seeing your field finds makes me want to start hunting fields!

Could be something different,I have several that are very thin metal also I just figured the poured level backing fell out.Good find though ,I have been selling them on line for up to 30 dollars with stones in them.I been selling those round bells you find we have a lot of them here in Illinois also.I am getting more for the old junk I find in the fields than the coins I am finding.
