Finds from my son's school.

Finally got the family back at the week end after they had a 2 week holiday. i had to borrow a friends car to take some petrol out to them as they ran out of fuel with only 25kms to go. The Falcon was telling the wife that she still had 29kms to empty when the engine quit.
I had 4 hunts at my son's school and turned up $124.30 in clad, 2 pennies (1948, 1963) a 1967 New Zealand shilling and 3 rings (1 9 carat gold and 2 silver).
An interesting point came up on my last hunt. I got to talk to the school handy man and he tells me that quite a number of people have hunted at the school that he has observed, and they all only ever hunt the bark chipped areas. I can tell you, that there are quite a few coins in the lawn, most particularly, the older variety. I just hope that they don't read this post.

P.S. I just noticed that the allowable photo's can now be twice the KBs that they used to be. Now 240KBs. Thanks Guvner.

I've only put in half the clad that I'd found, as I'd put the rest in with my other coins well before I took the Photo's.

You'll find that to be the case at many schools. The school where I found te Ike dollar awhile back was like that. The playground was clean but the front lawn was loaded.
