Finds from Mexico

[attachment 15472 MVC-003S.JPG]Well...this is all I have to show from my trip to the Riviera Maya (1hr south of Cancun). Most of the coins are Peso's, afew U.S. and fewer European. A small silver bracelet, silver earrings,a silver heart pendant & a dolphin charm. Someone lost the thimble to their Monopoly game, and a couple toy trucks. Spent aleast 15 hrs total, early mornings, 5 am - 8 am, then at night for around a hour. Found untold amounts of screw caps, pull tabs, beer and soda cans, lots of aluminum pieces. I had searched in the surf, up to 2 ft of water, but most of this stuff was found in the sandy dry areas. Bent the heck out of my aluminum long handle, time to buy a stainless one. I wish I had a under water machine, the Mexican guys on the beach got all excited when they saw me detecting and came running over, "SOME GUY LOST HIS ROLEX RIGHT THERE!!!" they were pointing out to a area that was around 5 feet deep. They wanted me to go out and find it I was like "I would if I could". Next time I go to the Ocean I am going to have a Excaliber. I was finding some of these coins w/my GT around a foot deep. One of those trucks I found way over a foot and I had to remove a rock to get to it and that was in the surf. It sounded off very loud. For any of you guys planning a trip to Cancun I will tell you right now the beaches are really messed up. They are like 3 feet lower than normal because of hurricane Wilma. Oh well, still looking for that gold ring. Aaron
