Finds From Last Weekend's hunt - help with a whatzit please...

Had another great fun hunt with Neal last weekend. We hit a few places. These items came from an old logging camp site which is now a field. The Indian Head ('74) did not fair too well but better than most from a field.

Does anyone have an idea on what the do-dad is? I initially thought it was part of a gun, like a trigger guard. I kind of doubt that after looking closer. It is broken on both ends. The top end almost looks like it broke at a hole. Anyway it was fun and I found these.

Take care and HH - BF

Its some form of a kitchen item.... maybe for a stove burner?? It wasnt attached to anything... there isnt any bolt holes. That turn on the handle seems to prevent your hand from hitting something or applying a little pressure.

Don't you wish sometimes you could have been at that spot say 20 years earlier and found some of them coins.......might have saved them before the crud started to cling to them. I know I do sometimes. Congrats on the 74 Injun and the other neat find. Continued Success, Good Luck and HH to you.
