After 2 days of 50 degree weather I was finally able to break off some sheets of ice and get in the lake late Sunday morning. Dave didn't make it Sunday and I was able to find the nice 18k wedding band on the right before calling it a day. Monday afternoon I met Dave there to take advantage of the last possible day to hunt since the lakes around here are all frozen over for good now. It was cold and very windy with a lot of wave action that forced me into shallow water in my waders. We both found small gold religious medals (sorry no pic) and I managed the Notre Dame high school and the engraved ring but Dave got skunked in the ring department.Monday was once again a classic example of why we call this place the Enigma. Everything runs in patterns no matter where your hunting (deep or shallow). On Monday it was old Zippo lighter day for me after finding 3 of them and Dave found 3 pairs of old sunglasses, the old kind when the lenses were made of glass, it's just too weird.Good Hunting
