Finds from last weekend and this weekend ...

Managed to scare up a merc and a rosie last weekend. This weekend I got to go water-detecting .... Friday I found the silver ring first and then the 10K gold ring shortly afterwards ...still need to have the diamonds tested to see if they are real ...anyways, I ended up besting my two more experienced buddies that day .:yo:.. except that their coin counts were higher. Saturday I hit an older park and managed three wheats and a nice little silver ring which my 15 year old daughter laid claim to immediately  ... And today I hit one of our local schools and raked in some clad and yet another sterling silver ring. Four rings for the weekend ... that's a record for me.... did'nt find any silver coins this weekend but I made up for it in silver rings ... good times !!

McDave ... you are doing better than me here on the beach on those gold rings lol. I swear..... everyone must have used a harmonica back in the day.... cant tell you how many of those pieces ive found. Looks like you are doing it right if you are finding GOLD... great job.

Dew, I was using a Fisher 1280x Aquanaut for the waterhunting on friday, but I'm sure the Explorer would have picked it up equally well. Just NOT gonna go near the water with my "baby" though ..

NICE FINDS DAVE:thumbup: I HAVE A PILE OF BLING BLING THAT I NEED TO GET THE ROCKS TESTED TO. I JUST HATE THE REJECTION OF WHEN THEY ARE JUST GLASS. LOL

I think the best way to approach it, is to walk in there expecting nothing. That way we can be pleasantly surprised.

Where in Wisconsin are you at if you don't mind me asking ?

Nice going Dave. I have 3 daughters & a wife who claim a lot of the rings I find. Congrats on 2 nice weekend hunts:beers:

Nice couple of weekends Dave.:clapping: and congrats on that gold ring. I would guess they are real diamonds and if they are I'm sure your wife will take claim to it. That silver ring is nice too with the crown and the hands holding the heart. I have also found not one, but two of those exact rings. GL & HH when you get out again.
