Finds from last Monday (pics)

Dave and I braved the cold water temps again Monday and had some success. I used to call this place "The Spot" when I first started detecting there this summer but we now refer to it as the Enigma because of all the weird things that happen while you're there. This is just an example,Dave and I were about 20' apart and I found the nice large signet ring that turned out to be 18k then I found the the woman's wedding band which had engraving from him to her 9-20-69 which is fairly new for this place. We then went up to the truck to warm up our feet since that's the one thing we can't seem to keep warm out in near freezing water. We're sitting in the truck drinking coffee and Dave says check out the silver ring I found and drops a nice mens wedding band into my hand  I take a closer look at the ring and thought this looks familiar for some reason and look inside for an inscription.Sure enough it's the match to the woman's band I had just found :clapping: Now this place is a junk yard and we can pull a 55gal garbage can full of junk in just 1 week here and we dig 100's of targets aday. What are the odds that we would dig a set of bands 10 minutes apart and 20' apart. The top pic are Daves finds and the 2nd pic are mine. The last 2 pics are a couple of things from last week. The Air Force ring is silver and not in great shape and we've found a couple other silver military rings but nothing in good condition since the water eats silver. The other thing marked Goetz is little bigger than a nickel and says the same on the reverse but have no idea what it is. Good Hunting
