went to folly beach this past weekend found some clad,bullet casing. the black rock hit about 6in down in the sand dont know what it is and some metal looking things, the casino chips dont know how they got there but they hit about 8in down.they have gold around the middle of them. but anyway had lots of fun going back soon.

Make sure you check that black rock out carefully. A long time ago I found Indian Head Cents and a CW token or two encrusted in rocks like that. You might have made a good find yet. Good luck.

How do you clen the rock to see if in fact you have something?

other than to wash it off good and then take a look closely to see if anything held in it might be partially exposed. If there is something in the rock giving the signal the only way to get it is to slowly and gently break the rock apart. Hopefully there's a nice little surprise inside that rock. I'm no geologist so I don't know what that rock is made up of but the ones I found things in were black and would smudge your fingers kind of like chalk. Reminded me of a piece of coal. Good luck.
