Here's my finds for the weekend. I found 2 cannonball frags, a couple of fired gardners, some musketballs, some grommets and some whatsits. My buddy Barry went sunday and found two nice bullet specimens, a nice dropped enfield and a gardner blow-thru. He also found a mercury dime.

Scott, you had a good day. One of these days, acid rain will destroy CW iron like the frags in the ground. Great finds!!!!

Scott: Check the Jan-Feb 2008 issue of American Digger, I wrote about how to construct a device made from PVC pipe that will allow you to identify the size of the cannonball from the curvature of the fragments you are finding. Might be of help.
