finds from 2000 acre boyscout camp

went out detecting a 2000 acre boyscout camp Located in harford county Md yesterday and today.
here are my finds of 2 days of hunting.
ive only put a dent in this camp, hopefully ill be back there soon.
the last pic is of 2 boyscout tie clips, havent had a chance to wash anything yet. and the silver ring showed up on the xlt-e series as 50cent dollar. and was happy to find the gold ring also.
found only 1 wheatie which was a surprise, since this camp has been opened since the 40ty's, and found a few 40ty's nickles

I hunted a boy scout camp back a few years ago,also hunted the swimming hole near by, some of my best finds ever!! good luck!

Keep hitting that place!! Me and lot of the guys over here have been hitting and old boy scout camp from the same time. We've probably pulled over 100 silver coins from there. One day alone I've pulled out 8 silvers and one was WLH. One thing I learned from those spots is the scouts seemed to love carry and drop lots of Walkers.

ill be heading back to the camp tomorrow, hopefully coming home with a few silver.
and wanted to thank you all, for all your responses to my finds.
and shareing your stories on your finds and tips.
hopefully the wind will die down today or tonight, it feels like 30 plus.
i've been useing the preset coin/jewelry program with a lil preamp gain added, tomorrow ill be experimenting with some a.c sensitivity adjustments, vdi and preamp gain.
hopefully it will make a bigger difference.
and the silver ring had the numbers 925 inside the band.

I hunted that camp a little. 2000 acres is alot of ground to cover. Mostly clad finds, some silver. I worked there for three summers starting 25 years ago. I still live close by and know the ranger well.Drop me a message if you would like to hunt together sometime.
