New member
Hunted a track and field at local Middle school, and old house my friend rents out. The house turned up 1 1945 wheat and some other clad, The school field turned up some clad and a Matchbox car in the sand pit.
 
hey ab1, i see youve had a fun day, its always neat to find hotwheels. and a wheaty is a good sign too... might wanna look around a little more... might be something else old there too. hh,

Thanks Ghost. The other pennies found had alot of corrosion on them but the wheaty was in better shape, still trying to figure that one out.???
 
I have had the same experience.

May be because the older pennies are solid copper.:shrug:
