Lurking here since last winter, getting plenty of insperation from this site. Best coin 1934 buffalo nickle, found at 6in. Oldest coin 1933 canadian cent. Handful of wheats, oldest 1940, 2 1940 dimes. 3 silver rings, 1 10k gold ring, 1 silver medi braclet, 2 knives, nice zippo I was able to get working again, 2 british plate crosses, 3/4 of a silver spoon (not shown). Jar o clad, gotta be 30$ there. Foriegn coins ( in the scrap photo) 1 britsh pound, 1 50p eire, 1 bahama 5c.
Most hunts 1-2 hours only in parks. started out with a rad shack bounty hunter then got an ace 250. Still learning about the deep stuff but have gotten alot better at diggin out that canadian clad.

Looks like your doing OK there would have thought your clad count would be higher in parks I know mine is over 1200.00 so far this year. Dan:thumbup:

... youre doing great!
Contrary to ad hype and lurid magazine tales, this is what this hobby is about.
Learn to research and find some of the old places that others may not know about, and you can hopefully up your oldie count.
But there is nothing wrong with what you're doing now... I hunt parks and schools alot. I find it both simpler and more readily available to do so.
I think you are on a roll. Welcome to this pastime!
