1-SILVER FAN PENDENT
1-BRASS PENDENT

1-STERLING SILVER RING SIZE 7
1-10-K GOLD RING SIZE 3-1/2

We had a unusually warm January but February has turned out so far to be just the opposite. This MXT Machine just seems to amazes me every time I use it. I just purchased a 3x6 Eclipse shooter DD to use in some of the more trashy areas that I hunt in.

You'll like the shooter. I found a 65 quarter on top of metal and in between junk metal objects that were tightly on both sides of it. I was thinking what kind of metal reads iron 83 iron? What a nice surprise. You'll also find that you can work the tip, not the side, of the coil real close to metal poles, fence, rebar in concrete etc.
and still get good depth and target separation unlike round bigger coils. One problem though is you'll get tiny targets you can't see that will give good readings. Of course that may prove to be a good thing also. I have some VERY small bracelet charms found that way.

Thank you Mike for the input on the shooter. I have a friend that uses one a lot to find little gold objects like you said that you can't see at times. Some of the places I hunt especially in front of concession stands that are still grassed that drives me & my MXT crazy with signals. I have been using the stock coil since I purchased the MXT and it works great for me in areas that's not full of trash. Have you noticed that we have to content with pull-tabs and pop-tabs and now they have begun using foil backed paper pull-tabs. I hunt foil a lot for the small gold rings.

Hi bcalton,

Are you saying the 59 quarters and 93 dimes are all silver? If so, you get a big thumbs up congratulations, and a tremendous amount of envy from me.

Thank you for your input. There are no silver coins in any of the coins that I listed. They are all the usual modern day coins from 1965 up.

You still get a big thumbs up congratulations.

I enjoy being out hunting. If I find anything of value, it is just frosting on the cake. A handfull of clad is enough to make me very happy.

Have fun
