Finds at the Park

Hunted for about five hours last night. The rain has made the iron scream and this park is full of it. I decided after a couple of hours and nothing but zincs and nails to move out closer to the edge where some old houses border the park.
Found the 62 quarter and the silver earring close to the edge of the park.
The dog tags have a ladys name and the address is North Platte, NE, kinda funny since I'm in SW Missouri.
I don't know what the copper grommet things could be off of but theres alot of em. I came home with alot of trash also.
Had a good time fishing the dirt.:clapping:

Nice! A silver quarter.

I hope to find at least one someday. I'm starting to think "outside the box" about places to look. Every park around here is too young to have any appreciable amounts of silver or wheaties or has had the living heck hammered out of it by other MD enthusiasts.

I think the grommets are from tarpaulins (tarps). Maybe the Boy Scouts or others camped there or maybe they are from picnickers escaping rain storms.
