Finding The Right Machine, For The Price Point

Hey There Fellow Diggers,
Question: If you had a choice between the Quest Q20 metal detector or the Nokta Makro Simplex metal detector, which of the two would you choose and why? I'm bending toward the Nokta Makro Simplex being that it has 3 hunting programs (patterns) + all metal and it water proof to 10'. It seems to be an awesome detector, for the price point which is about $250 for the machine itself and about $340 with the wireless headphones. I'd like to know your opinion on the two.

Hmmmmm Marty keep it simple with the head phones,but with out a doubt the Nokta Mako with out a doubt the best one.The high tech. detectors come with expensive gear so look out

of the two I would go with the Nokta, base on what I have seen people post. Not many using the Quest that I have seen. Remember, all their videos and advertisements are supposed to entice people. If it were me I would stick with one of the top 4 companies.
