Finding targets under steel bottlecaps

The weather here has finally gotten decent and I have been hunting a little. The last couple times out I have found coins under steel bottlecaps. Some of the caps were real rusty. On the first one the cap was in the center of the plug when I flipped it over but the coin was another inch or so below it. I went out again for a short while and dug two more almost the same way. I have also dug quite a few holes with iron or other junk in the same hole but the coin was correctly identified. I have been using ferrous coin setting. This detector is pretty amazing........Too bad I wasnt filming at the time....;o(

I found a wheat least week that was literally attached to the dirt on the bottom of the steel bottlecap - amazing ability to see through the iron!

AgIA I found a wheat cent with 3 bottle caps in the same hole with it don't know how they were arranged was going to give up when I pulled the third one out but got a real good signal by then.sube
