Dig all numbers from 48 to a nickel. I have found one ladies gold ring that came in at 48. Never pass up a near nickel signal and the gold will come.
And yes you will dig some pull tabs.:clapping:

I know about the ring frustration. I dig foil and pulltabs like crazy, so sooner or later my first gold ring will appear. I'm sure our luck will change..:rage:

yea ive got a great pulltap and foil collection but i also have managed a couble ringsand hoop ear ring all in the water so far lots of fun

Sterling silver rings will come up in the coin range 80-88, but the gold rings are tougher @ 39-60, just from my limited testing on the few I've found. If pull tabs ever become valuable, I will be a rich man. To increase your odds a bit, work the beaches and swimmin' holes. Dig the signals others pass up. Go the extra few inches deeper. Rescan after you dig. I've learned a lot from reading the success posts on this forum.

I have found rings that sound off all over the place. I just dug a small 10k gold ring that came in the low foil range. Digging for rings in parks can be tough with all the can slaw and pull tabs. I look for rings on sport fields and in swimmen holes. Less trash. I hit a park the other day that was so bad my AT-Gold just sputtered. I usually dig everything, but at this park I had 10+ signals in my first sweep:surrender: I hunted it till I hit one high tone popped a quarter out of the ground and called it a day. Some people say you have to dig 100 pull tabs for a ring, I can tell you there have been times when I have dug several hundreds without getting a ring, but then all of a sudden I will hit a pay streak. I have dug 19 rings in the last 5 weeks. That's the best run I have ever had. The bad thing is I know my odds are going down fast and I will be seeing a bunch of pull tabs and can slaw in my future.
Just hunt and the rings will come.

You want dig the gold jewelry? It comes with a price. That price is to dig all those signals many others don't want to dig. However, the good news is so many will not dig those "junk" signals leaving them behind for the rest of us. Keep digging those signals and the gold jewelry will come. Some of my best gold jewelry finds have come from some trashy parks. Keep on digging those ring signals, it is worth it. Happy hunting.

I have found 2 gold items so far. The first was a 10k bracelet, it was rather small, might be a childs. Anyway, that rang in at 40. The other was a 10k gold ring that rang the bell at 46. One other test on gold was when a lady stopped me when i was coin shooting in the park, she was real interested in getting into this hobby and was telling me all about it when i noticed she had a gold bracelet on. I ask her if i could test it. She held it right out there and it rang in at 50. It was 24k gold. My advice, DIG THOSE 40S!!! Good luck.

im new to using the at pro and only use the pro mode as i like it alot better then the standard i just dig any solid sigals no matter the number iron as a really low grunt so its easy to tell apart from a good target av only been out twice with it on land so far but if i get a iron sigal mixed with a good tone low signal al still dig it 9 times out 10 its junk but its just them 1 times when the good stuff will pop up all that junk would be well worth digging i say
