Finding rings on the beach AT-Gold or AT-Pro

If you are hunting salt water 18 kHz does not get along with salt enviroment. Get the AT Pro........works very well at the beach. I have one.

I'm not sure what guys are calling "working very well " ......I would call working very well being able to hit targets down a minimum of 8-12 inches in a wet salt environment ......When you have to turn your sensitivity down to 3 or so ,and STILL have a bunch of noise while hunting , I don't call that " Working very well " ...... Single frequency machines are just not cut out for a saltwater environment .....Will they work ? ...Yes , to a degree .....Will they work well ? ....NO !!.... You might pull gold or treasure that is not that deep using one , but that's it ......Multi frequency is the name of the game , or a P.I. machine is even better , but has no real usable discrimination .....You want a backup for your Excal , get a CZ-21, or a P.I. machine ....Jim

BTW ...I own an Excal , I am waterproofing an SE . and have had Sovereigns, and bought into the AT Pro for wet salt beaches ........All but the AT Pro work very well in the wet salt sand .....You can NOT even ground balance the AT Pro properly on the wet salt ....It works GREAT on the dry sand , but not the wet ...AGAIN, the AT Pro will work fair on wet salt sand just as any other single frequency machine will do ...... It will handle surface treasure down to 4-6" at best in the wet salt if you can handle the noise from a machine that will NOT properly ground balance ....Jim
