Finding Gold with a Whites 5900

Does anyone know how gold objest can be found with a whites 5900? What setings and such. Thanks, Berkeleyduck

haven't used a whites in a long time. used to use a 6000di series 3. yours should be just like all the others the lower you set the disc. the more gold you will find. the problem comes from all the foil and pulltabs that read the same as gold. if i remember right on the 6000 nickles hit on the meter dead center on the pulltab reading. there's ways like that where you can tell some good target from the bad. good luck.
