Finding civil war camps

Anybody know of any good resources on finding civil war camps. One's off the beaten path so to speak. Not necessarily right near the battlefields.
 
Check the OR's for the arae that you live in. They should tell you were camps were. You just have to do a lot of reading...d2

I know this sound Dumb but what does "OR's" means, sorry I'm a little slow today.:wacko:
 
OR's are the "Official records of the civil war" google that phrase and you will be able to search them...d2
