Cool, cant wait to check out the pics

Out with Robert aka Spongebob Scubapants (Scubadetector) as he likes to be called... LOL!!! and Kevin (kcdigit) for a 1/2 day splash on the pond. Found a dream coin which caused me to soil myself! Thank god I was waist deep in water so nobody noticed. Get your t.p. and take a gander at this bad-boy! I did mild electrolysis to remove the grey, hope I didn't devalue the coin much. It will never leave my collection so I'm not too worried about it.

Awesome cleaning and GREAT CONDITION!! Holy wonderful detail Greg. UNBELIEVABLE.

And now to post pictures of my finds!! My penny is an 1826 and I had to use a loupe to get the date off it! One of my tokens is a maverick. The other is The A.P.R. Co. LOL shouldn't post after that coin!!

The top item looks to be the end of a sword or bayonet, two horse shoes, a round one and a regular one, a saw and 3 spoons.

Congrats. Hope it's the real deal, i thought i read awhile back where bogus ones were coming out of china. Could be wrong on this, it could possible be another coin. Mike

Awesome Trade Dollar Greg. I t was a good day. Thought I would post my measly finds. Two silver rings, one brass ring, one small flat button that reads super fine on the back and another brass button that has Peninsular on it. If anyone can give me information on the buttons I would appreciate it. SD and Greg it was a fun day especially for you Greg. Congrats!!!!!:clapping:

You all did well...Had to Educate myself on the TD since i never saw one B4...WOW...You guys make it seem easy to recover those items in your endless number of lakes.....I'm always amazed at what you find...You could always come to Fla. in the winter,we got lots of lakes... the Gators and snakes move real slow in the cold!! GL

Sheez guys, makes what we find down thisaway kind of depressing!

That's a beautiful find for sure. I'd of been doing the happy dance underwater and killed half a tank shouting in my mouthpiece!

Looks like all of you are in the groove up there, congrats.

Sailor, Well Greg wades while we dive so he didn't kill any air!

Bob, These finds were in a lake that is 24 miles wide and 26 miles long and get this, the AVERAGE depth is just 9 feet!!! All SAND on clay. You can walk and walk and walk and never go over your head.

Mike, its the real deal. I can't believe how it cleaned up. It was greyish black.

Thanks John, My penny is ok and the back is in great shape, The front is a bit worn especially by the date!

Mud, your comment made me laugh. Good one!!

My metal tag is from the US Army Corp of Engeneers, Giving a homeowner permission to put up 92' of seawall.

All three of you guys had some great finds for sure.
But....the days best find goes to Greg....that trade
dollar is awesome!. Congrats... Gold Nuggets :wiggle:

Hi,
Just a note to tell you that the "round horseshoe" is actually a shoe for an oxen.
Nice find as you don't see them every day.
