Went out hunting with my friend Dave again this last weekend and hit a couple of spots. The first spot was some old foundations that looks like they've been around since Moses was a baby didnt find to much there, lots of trash. Tho I did find a couple neat old bottles and got a newer nickel out by the road. Then we went back to great grandma's house. The family story goes as follows.....Great great Grandpa found this house while walking through the woods one day and it was empty at that time and it has been in the family ever since. True??? dont know but it has been there since the mid 1800's at least. Dave got a penny and what looks like the inside door handle of a old Model T and I got some junk and finally got a decent signal but a wierd one...it rang in between a dime and a quarter but in the B range and 2" down. So I dug it and out pops my first Barber dime!!!!! 1906 boy did I let out a whoop when I saw that so that kinda made it all worth while. The other day I went across the street to finish up the neighbors yard and found a 1962 canadian penny and another wheatie 1950. Looking forward to getting out this weekend again.
