I went to a old house and the old man told me it had been hunted around a dozen times over the years. He said he had lived there around 80 years. He said the last person just found junk and some old batteries. I didn't think he was going to let me detect. But he ended up knowing my granddad that passed when I was one. He let me detect and wanted to see if I found anything. I always like it when it has been hunted before well most of the time I like it. It allows me to test how I know my detector. I put my 6 inch dd coil on, noise canceled at -2, ground balanced at 50 sensitivity 22-27 ,two tone. My very first target was a 1951 nickel. I thought someone missed this one. Not two minutes later I dug a wheat , then a 1943s silver nickel. I thought who in the world had hunted this and missed these. But there was a lot of trash in the yard. I ended up digging 7 wheats, one being a 1948 with a hole shot through it. I button with a duck and a tiny button with flowers and some unknown button. I only dug about 5 trash targets.

Congrats on the finds! :clapping:
Any backmarks on those buttons?

No the one with the duck is rusted. The small one with a flower, the shank is broke and it is smashed up on back. The other one is blank.

:clapping: Nice Job...
