This pic to show you the size of the (2) Commemoratives compared to the Franklin Half, the Susan B. Didn't find a Silver Dollar to compare the size...but they are large, thick & heavy!

over all I think you did pretty good. I like that franklin half.

Well you did a lot better than it sounded before ! WTG , lotsa silver. Maybe ask about the English ones on a Canadian forum. steve in so az

friends likes the Franklin Halves also but I like the Walking Liberty Halves. I think they're really pretty! Found one of each in that hunt! Gloria found a 1900 Silver Dollar in this fall's hunt and it is in very nice condition!

God Bless!

win anything although I paid for six chances to win something! No tokens for prizes found either, but I did receive a blessing from God and will write about that later! I know God did it because of the way it turned out! :)

God Bless!

I remember - maybe it was my first club hunt - that I found nothing. Seemed there was a loose battery connection and it was not working more than it was working. I was the only one to find nothing that day. Bummed me out but I learned alot in the process. So ya done very well Betty. The young ones are the ones in a hurry to find things but leave the holes behind for us to fill.

looking at all the pics, you have over 100 coins! :)
I know you had fun, and that is all that counnts!
I hope I can dig that many when I am your age.
In two days I will be closer to your age.
(No offense intended) :)

You rock!:detecting:

God Bless!

no offense taken. You have been blessed to start detecting at a much younger age than I did and I've been around in this body a lot longer than you have in yours! So enjoy life and have a great time loving your family and going detecting! :) Keep on, keepin' on for Jesus and finding those older coins!

A lot of silver was buried in the hunt and I know many found so much by going really fast and didn't leave much for us older, slower people, especially women! But I still praise God for what I did find, as it could have been a lot less or nothing! So Thank You, Jesus!

God Bless!

won the top prize in the competition hunt (I never enter it) and found 64 dimes plus token dimes and 30-50 Quarters & halves each....don't remember exactly, but that's why I am disappointed in what I found. He goes to hunts all the time and is fast in finding the coins and etc. Also others always find a lot....but getting older and slower, I am happy I'm still able to go and participate. I still hurt and am sore from Sunday's hunt. Me ole bones and muscles are too weak! :( But Praise God we have treasure laid up in heaven for me, you and all His children! Glory Hallelujah, God is Great!!!

God Bless & Happy Hunting!
Betty

are right about the holes....our club's president had to remind those not filling their holes to do so! I always try to get the dirt back in when I found them not done right and then stomped it down! So, in doing good, I lose out many times! :) But I don't like seeing their messes! Ha!

One time I found some silver...not very much....had it in a med bottle...washed my hands and left my bottle in bathroom...was gone when I remembered about it. So came away empty handed that time and also many times I didn't find much...so this year was better! Guess I just have to remember those worse times and not just the better times!

Praying your hernia is taken care of and that you can get out and hunt with or without Ken before it gets too cold! I imagine those craft fairs can be good for detecting if a person can get to them before others do.. The early bird gets the worm....so to speak!

God Bless!

our club fall seeded hunt last weekend but for the 1st time since I've been in the club I missed it. They were calling for cool and wet weather and I had a cold and thought I'd better stay in.
Feeling better now!!!
Greg

not only did you miss out on some nice coins...I think Mike must have dug your share along with his share! What do ya think? :D Glad you are feeling better!

God Bless!
