Finally took out my new AT Pro

I've had my AT Pro for a couple days now, but haven't had time to take it out. I'm a water hunter but just had enough time this evening to take out the AT to a disced lot for about an hour. I felt like a fish out of water because this isn't my type of hunting at all, but the AT was very stable and very easy to use. I was able to find a 1956 wheatie at 6 inches with no problem in the basic STD coin mode.

Sunday will be the TEST for my AT in the WATER.

It will be submerged in the water most of the day.....................will it hold up .............I shall see and let you know.

IT BETTER NOT LEAK !!!:rofl:

Congrats and good luck with your new machine!

Good luck , Darryl

I got an atpro a few weeks ago.I hunted land with it just to get use to the different settings.I Did find a small gold bracelet in a totlot the first week I had it.
The second week I decided to take it waterhunting.Well it worked fine for about an hour, then it happened..I got the erratic noise coming through the headphones and I knew exactly what was going on based on what I have read on this forum. To confirm it I got out of the water an looked at the screen.SURE AS HECK HERE WAS WATER UNDER THE SCREEN.Well I wasnt surprised this happened. What really surprised me was what happen later.

I sent my detector back to Garland Tx on the 14th of june. The postoffice told me it should get there by the 20th postal parcel.I got delievery confirmation to keep track of my detector.Well on the 19th the postoffice posted that it was in Memphis,tn.WHAT THE HECKKK IS IT DOING IN TN!!!!!!(IM IN CA) I call the postoffice that day and she told me she wasnt sure how the sort facility worked over there.I told her i would wait a couple more days to see the next posting from them.Today (5 days later) there is another post.Hoping to see Texas on there, but no such luck.ITS BACK IN CALIFORNIA!!! LOL. Im sure its not coming back repaired if it never made it to TEXAS.
