Finally a break in the weather, went back to site outside of Gettysburg but it was just way to muddy to hunt so I hopped next door to that site and as you can see by the pictures it was not an easy hunt either but I did mange to pull a couple nice relics from here as well.This is private property and we do hunt with permission of the landowners.These three properties run right into one another and all three landowners have been very nice.As you cross the creek you are in the site of the field hospital and no, we do not have permission to hunt this site.Enjoy!
Also, if anyone knows what the pewter object is please let me know, I have no clue.

Nothing on the base.I have pulled at least 20 enfields from this area and none have any marks.Did find several plug bases though.
 
Nice finds! I know we got a lot of rain down this way, can only imagine what those fields look like! Got your e-mail this AM, and sent one back at ya :detecting:
