I've been detecting for 6 months now. I have a White's MXT and have found plenty of bullets and a few buttons here and there.....but you don't see these every day. A Maryland state seal buckle!! It's in rough shape but it is what it is. I just need to get it straightened out and it will be sweet!! Figured I'd share my good find.

Hi, Nice find. Careful straightening it out, or it will snap. Usually you need to heat it in order not to break it. You may want to talk to a jeweler or someone who has worked with softening metals for some advice first. Good luck!!

Thanks.....I am going to a big show in Timonium next weekend and maybe can get a pro there to help me out. Maybe I'll see some of you there
