I finally got a chance to dig. The bathroom ceiling had to wait as the sun finally came out for a weekend! :cool
I had the pleasure of hunting with Gary Storm from DetectorPro who came to New England for the long weekend. He did some waterhunting & I was amazed he came outta the water with 4 nice gold rings :surprised I was glad we were able to get in a few hours on a colonial site before he left. Bill "RomanRingmaster" Henderson also joined us, (even though he showed up with a Toysoro we let him stay) :laugh Everyone found some stuff, a couple colonial coppers, musketballs, lotsa flat buttons, indian heads. I was lucky enough to bag this one. A nice 1831 Capped Bust dime :wiggle This picture is "as dug" & I think it will be staying just like this. No need to try to make this coin all shiney & ruin it.... :nono
The second picture is a bunch of the relics dumped out on the back of the truck, & then all 3 of us with Gary in the middle. We had a fun weekend of detecting.....but I really gut sunburned :cool

For MIke Hillis.....it was a +28/+29 on the C$
sorry I have not been able to test some more of my dug coins yet.... :(

Bill H. was cleaning out all the iron on my site, just like he does on your fields with that Toysoro thing :poke
