That 9 inches of rain was a blessing, Central Va was hurting for it. Dug my first Seated Quarter and couldn't ask for a cooler Date "1861". Also a first was the rare Volcanic bullets, and yesterday evening I dug a third one not pic'd. T'is the season people, Cool weather, Damp ground, No bugs,.....Get out -n- Go.

I found a whole lock with the same plate on it up here.( W W & Co.) with the eagle. Great looking seated Quarter. JOE in MD
 
Kool Joe, thanks for the pics. I have a lock just like that, maybe I'll just marry the swing plate to it.
