My drought is over - got a Merc and a silver Roosevelt today. Also dug 109 coins of which 16 are wheats, some jewelry and an old door latch.

The Roosevelt is a 1947, the Merc is a 1927. The little teapot is a neat old pin, still has the sticker attached on the back and the eagle pin is intact. Happy Labor Day to all !! Steve in so az

as you said, an older site. It's in the downtown part of the city - going to be taken down this week I believe. I did all I could do and prepared to leave. Then I thought I would not get another chance as tomorrow they will work on the site. So I went over all the little places I might have missed. I'd like to say that's when I dug the Merc or such but I did get another wheat and several recent coins. But I did give it my all and am very happy to be in the silver again.

PS When I cleaned things up at home I found one of the nickels was 1943 - silver. And a little ear ring was stamped silver also. Cant wait for 5:30 tomoorrow for my next site !! Stewve
 
Nice finds Steve!! We have finally been getting a lot of rain, supposed to rain most of today, so I might try to get out myself later now that the ground is softer. Cold snap today, hi in the upper 70's!!
