A house in town was taken down and I detected it several times as it was being reduced. I dug mostly recent coins. Finally it was just leveled dirt & I was in there. Besides a few zinks & a recent quarter I hit an old nickel, 1904, still cleaning it up. For me this is an unusually old one.

I also dug these 2 tokens, one is an aluminum tax token & the other is a "good in trade of 5 cents.

Good going on the oldies....the nickel dates to the 1904 St. Louis Worlds Fair! Hope it will clean up well for you! Congrats and hope you find more oldies and in better condition! God Bless! Ma
