I got out for low tide this morning to take the ctx for a swim and after 3 hours I found a total of 7 cents and two pairs of sunglasses. By now I'm thinking is this detector even working , so I make my turn and go closer to the shore line right where the small waves are breaking. There is usually a small trough there and I have found gold there in the past but not often. I am not even hunting the trough for more than a minute and get a pull tab signal about 6 " deep and out pops this fat 14k gold ring. FINALLY gold in the scoop. I think the maker is Mary Grace Designs from Thailand , I don't have a scale but this ring does have a nice heavy feel to it.

Nice one.
Is that a spinner ring ?

WTG....a nice heavy looking 14K ring:thumbup: I gotta get back to the beach real soon!!!!

Great Find. Congratulations.

I picked up a scales for weighing my silver and gold jewelry at Harbor Freight. Did not cost much and of course one can use the 20% off coupons. Of course it is China made as with all of their product.

Well, you sure weren't kidding when you said you got a dandy one when we talked today at the beach, glad you told me about the post so I could see it, I got a similar styled ring last year with a scroll design on it but mine was yellow and white gold and a smaller ladies sized ring however, it weighed 7.5 grams.....yours should be a heavyweight for sure!

Nice seeing you today, that little ring I had turned out to be SS....
