Finally Panama gold

Finally picked up some gold in Panama. Beautiful little beach by Bocas. It is 18k and my best guess is about 3 grams. Lots of coins here, nobody with a detector in these areas.

Good work SD, could be good news if you're the only one doin it... Get my regs back this week, and took the boat out again this weekend. Sold my explorer se,jot but a newer underwater detector now. You rate those cz's pretty high then? I'm thinking about a second hand excalibur. What do you recon? Good luck in panama...

Hey, Don....good to hear from you. Yeah, I've been doing very little detecting over the past 4 years, but I've been getting back into it the past month or two. Hope to not let everything else get in the way this time.....sounds like you're trading good beaches for more good beaches.....glad to hear you'll still have some decent hunting grounds!
