Went hunting with SD Friday in two different lakes. First found old silver ring with green stone then lots of shotgun shells, some change and a strange round horse shoe (I think). Went to second lake and found a heavy silver Tiffany ring, lots of bottle caps, some change and then towards dark I found a 6.31g 14k gold wedding band, which made up for not finding much on the previous dives and I finally got to rub it into SD. :clapping:

Great hunting!

He had a great day to my merc and SMALL silver ring. Even a blind squirl gets a nut sometimes.

LOL nice finds Kevin, glad you finally could tease me.

Nitrogen narcossis or altitude sickness! That would be my story! LOL

That green stone is Malachite, often found when mining Turquoise.

The round shoe is an ox shoe.........NGE (pezhead)

Thank you Pezhead, I didn't know what kind of shoe it was. I found an Ox shoe, one of a two part shoe in a local park, I didn't know they made a round style. Do you know how old it is?

I had seen it on T-net somewhere, but can't remember what year they are. I will try to look for it online........nge

You guys have to much fun:laugh: Sounds like a great time...playing in the water, metal detecting, and hanging out with friends....does it get any better!

Congrats on the finds!!

Have fun and stay safe out there!

Sorry, it is not an ox shoe but, a corrective horse shoe called a Bar shoe. Check out this wiki-pedia link, look about 3/4 of the way down, you will see an example........nge http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Horseshoe
