Finally made it to the playground that I had lost

Can't say the results were great (3 quarters, 3 dimes -earliest was 1969 year I graduated high school, 1 Canadian nickel and 10 mem. pennies and a Canadian penny).

Did spend about 20 minutes talking detecting with a guy who lives down the street from the school and has a Bounty HUnter he bought from our friend Al in Plainwell. He hasn't hunted the school but has pulled a few buffalo nickels out of his yard and even a 55 cal musket ball. We had quite a talk in a short period of time so didn't get to do as much detecting as I wanted. Told him who I was and where to find me (here).

Nice to chat with others who share our hobby.

maybe he would show up here to say hi. He lives in Williamston and bought a Bounty Hunter from Al. Wonder if Al remembers him. He asked about clubs. Told him Lansing had none but a few of us from this area go to SWMSS Club - thers go to the Detroit area club. He knew about Plainwell and we talked about doifferent places to hunt. He's done some research and is interested in the "3D" unit (forgot the name - Fisher I think - but same make as the one Henry just parted with).

Can't say much more than that. He did tell me that the school (which is actually several elementary schools using the same playgrounds, ball field, soccer field, etc. will be eliminating the large play area next year for buses to turn around in. The have a new playground in front of the school now for the kids to use.

So after all that long winded talk - no Mike, I didn't get his name.
