I got a chance to get back to my park for a while Sunday. I was happy to pop out a 1904 Barber quarter - at about 5 inches. Also found a 1907 Barber dime and a
TINY piece of sterling (marked 925 - see photo #4 next to a wheat cent). Ratio of IHs to wheats is still holding true with 7 IHs to 4 wheats.
The button (photos #2 & #3) is a nice little Pennsylvania National Guard marked on back "STATE ARSENAL PENNA".
Last pictures are of the misc odds and ends. Thanks for looking. IHs dates: 1864, 1875, 1879, 1889, 1890, 1899, 1906.

wtg on the finds drkp. Some real old stuff there.

Nice going on your finds, Bruce, and for finally getting a bigger silver out of your "Park"!!

I think everyone who's got a detector would love to detect a park like that!

Good luck next time out.

and it's amazing how some parks give you more indians than wheats. My favorite park will give me about 5-1 indians over wheats. I'm guessing the wheats got dug first in the 70's and later because they weren't as deep as the indians. I've had days where I'd dig 7 or 8 indians and get no wheats at all! I like parks like that!
Keep digging em!

Thanks all for the replys. I'm not sure of the age of the button. I'm guessing post Civil War - maybe 1880's? I haven't had a chance to research yet.
Any help would be appreciated. IHs to wheats stands at 45 to 61 (34 of the wheats are pre 1920).

Nice going Bruce on finally getting a Barber quarter out of that park.:clapping: Like they say, where there's one there has to be another. GL & HH.
