It got to around -40 yesterday during the day, a tad too cold for this wimp! Skin freezes in minutes at those temperatures. However, today....this morning, the temperature rose to -15 which is a go. I did my honey do list, did some banking, then headed out to some snow hills where I was hoping to pick up a little pocket change from those people tobogganing down those hills. I did get some loot, about 4 hours of exercise, and sweaty clothing for dressing too warm.

65 here in AZ yesterday lol I dont like cold weather. I must say you are committed :yikes:

Were you saying that John is Committed or needs to be Committed. From my point of view it is needs to be Committed. Aint no way this old man is venturing out in that kind of temps. I do not like Cold.

John I found one picture of you and one of a young lady from up your way.

I was digging in -12 F weather in NEW YORK! The Polar Vortex hit us hard! Nice finds though!

A little confused on the temperatures given.
Unless i'm misunderstanding all the C's and F's,
-15 deg. C turns out to be about 5 deg. F.
-11 deg. C turns out to be about 12 deg. F.

Then factor in snow hill and toboggan slide detecting, and in the middle of Winter?
I gotta say John, you are one hard core metal detectorist!
