FINALLY i got out for an hr ....................

Then it got windy and the temp went from
47 to 35 in an hr ... the wind made it seem
colder..but the faithfull school yard gave up
53 cents , including a 1956 wheat , not my oldest but
the 1st for this year ... the last part of the week looks
good maybe the ground will thaw more by then ..

Glad you got out bud. Weather here still basically stinks. Can't believe this winter. Hope yours improves soon.

This has been the second coldest winter where I live in the south in the 24 years I've live here. Last year was a hard cold winter, too. A wheat penny is great. I found what may be a musket ball, but don't know yet. It could be a sinker, but it looks like a bullet. Hope everybody gets out and does some metal detecting soon and the weather will cooperate, of course.
