The detectors arrived today (Monterrey, Mexico). I went hunting right away with my son and daughter and we had a good time. They (and me too) got tired but happy. I found a 5 cents coin from 1953 and a 1 cent coin from 1956. I also found an American penny and 3 modern coins.

:detecting:Great news and great finds!!! Well I hope you did your research on those small towns, now go get em.... :detecting:

Matter of fact have found 1000 and 500 peso coins too. The 100 "gold" coins are abundant there. Gave all of them away, no value, right? A friend of mine found a 1935 silver mexican coin some time ago. Nice/ Keep us posted on your finds.

Hope you find some old Spanish treasure. I live in an area with a lot of Hispanics. I have found some nice Mexican coins here. A few old ones, one silver. Good luck.

Thank you very much for your nice wishes. I will keep you informed about what happen here. Today I found 16 pesos (modern) about 1.25 dollar and two semi-old 100 pesos (1992, that have almost no value now)
