I've only been detecting for 3 months. My sister & I usually go out and hunt together about 3-4 times a month, if we're lucky. Well, yesterday we started out at a local school and found just a few coins. We then considered calling it quits and instead decided to hit a local park that I've been wanting to hunt. Our first dig was 4 stacked nickels in one hole, that got us excited. We kept digging at everything. We were in search of gold and we were hoping to find some. Yesterday was the day GOLD GOLD GOLD!!! Our first gold fiind.Unbelievable, it's a beauty!! Check out the pics. WOOHOO!!
