Finally got to swing the F70

Hit a old school that has produced really well in the past (not for me though :nopity: Check out hdwt.net and look for Riverton School). Decided to just try to get the hang of the F70. Used the big DD coil, DE mode, and sens at 80. Didn't take long to realize that 80 is a little high for my ground. Bumped it down to 70 and it was much smoother. An occasional false, but liveable. I played around with tones, but decided I liked 3. Kept thresh at 0.
Got tons of signals, but was able to isolate individuals with short swings. Lots of good signals in the 6-8" range. Dug plenty of tabs, but every one ID'ed as a tab.
Managed a nice button. It says Arizona on it - so an Arizona relic?
Ok, Maybe just Walmart jeans, but anywhoo..

Dug a handful of clad, but daylight was leaving me. On the way to the car got one last signal, and out comes a '46 wheatie in crappy shape. Had to wait till I got home to ID it.

I'm loving this machine. The CoinStrike has just dropped to #2 of all time favorites.

Wayne,

The F70 is additive. I picked up the CZ3D over the weekend and even though I always thought of it as light compared to my old machine it
felt like I was swinging the bumper off a car or something. Even with the sensitivity down those good signals seem to scream at you. I was
three or four inches to the side of a four inch deep penny outside my normal sweep but it made enough noise I moved over and dug it.

Keep swinging the F70
Don
