I went to a local school grounds for a short hunt. AT PRO found 2 rings along with a bunch of coins, even one of them Dollar coins you don't see around here much. The Claddagh ring is stamped "made in Ireland". Can't wait for cold weather to hit the woods again!!! I got to thank my Pentax camera for the Micro-scope picture of "made in Ireland".

WTG:clapping: And nice close-up. Any markings on the ring as to silver content?

I advise you not to melt those check the cultural value of them with a jewelry historian. I am no expert but they may have cultural value that surpasses melt value.

Good deal! The ring with the heart and hands looks very familiar. I think we have a couple from past years very similar except with stones. I will have to check and will post it here if there are enough similarities.

Wife is still not getting around all that well to be out metal detecting, but am hoping to get out at least a few times next month. It has been a very slow year here for hunting.

The ring is more valuable as is, unwise to scrap it. Do some research. 99% chanch its sterling.

Nice !! One of those looks like a spoon ring .
