Went to the park today and found 22 quarters,16 dimes,1 nickle,40 pennies.
A total of $7.55 to start this month off. I was hunting most of the time at 100 sensitivity/gain. And 40 disc. though I been skipping a lot of targets in the 60's because I been finding a lot of ring tabs and there are still a lot of penny targets. Trying to get most of the dimes and quarters first and the multiple target drops. I figure I spent about 2 hours hunting.

Nice digs.

You got to dig them 60's, gold will be there like this one I got not so long ago !

I plan to work the whole area and I am thinning the targets out first...
So I figure i'll find gold eventually...

Nice guys I love the.G2

way too much rain this year, colder than normal temps, and far too many doctor appointments! When things have been favorable, I think I have grabbed my G2 more than all the other models I have, combined.

For me, because I'm working a lot of trashy sites, I've kept the 5" DD on so far almost all year. Were you using the 5" or 11" DD coils? I'd like to have a mid-sized search coil on the G2 because that would provide better coverage in the more open areas. Anyway, I hope you and BH Landstar continue to fine high-count coin sites.

Thanks Monte.. I cannot speak for BH but the park I am in a 62 acre park and I'm only hunting the oval insice a track area...Looking for what is droppen when people put their stuff down and exercise or such...I yet to clear more than a very small area of the field...And still trying to make a decent probe... I need to find some dull 12"x 1/4 drill bits...

Gb, I have both coils but am using the 5" right now.
I take it apart to go to the park and tie it to my handle bars.
