Larry and I went out detecting for a short time before getting too cold. I had a "hunch" about a place so we took off in the truck with detectors in the back. My first hit was an wheat cent so I knew this was going to be a good place. Second hit was the 1918-S dime. I came home with5 wheats, silver, junk ring, Tootsie Toy Roadster and a pin that says "Bring One". Strange??? Had a great time and can't wait to go back. Thanks for looking. Nancy

It sounds like you had fun and got some decent things too..........You do well with your MXt and I truly enjoy your posts.

Haven't seen your post for a while, I'm glad you had some fun. I'm alway jealous that you and Larry can detect together. Paulette can't physically do it. Rob

Thank you and I've been out once in a while, but just haven't posted. Guess I've needed a break from here. Plus I sprained my ankle and had a hairline fracture. OUCH! Just now starting to be able to bend it while digging those treasures out of the dirt. I'll try to be better at posting. I love to read about the finds of everyone too.
Happy hunting to all.

Robert, that's usually one of the first things we do when we wash the dirt off and it's doesn't have any great value. Basically a $3 dime. Wonder how much that would have bought back in 1918? A lot of flour, I'm sure. Thanks, Nancy
