Finally got out with the Sand Shark...

First water hunt of the year for me and I got off to a good start... 14 karat white gold with a 1/4 karat diamond. Weight is only 3 grams.. also got a few coins.
This came from a fresh water swimming lake. When I got this detector last year and started posting some of my freshwater finds, some stated that I was much braver than them for using a PI machine in freshwater, but I am completely happy with my choice, and since I also use it some for saltwater, I knew it would perform great in both conditions.
Heck, it has just about paid for itself already in just hunting in freshwater.
Thanks for looking,
Felix

That is great!I want to go with my Sand Shark.I remember you asking about it.I was so surprised at how good the Shark did for me in the dry sand.I am glad it is working for you Felix. That ring may not have been found as easily with a vlf detector.WTG!:clapping:

nice job on the gold ring!

Way to go on the gold ring. The diamond is the cherry on top.

It doesn't take long to pay for your detector with finds if you're swinging a Tesoro. They lock onto gold rings like a pit bull dog.

I've been wanting to do some freshwater beach hunting. :detecting:

Way to score on the gold! Nice find! It is great when a detector can pay for itself real quick.
